Using Infinity Connect to share content:
If you’re using Infinity Connect to join a meeting, you can share your screen by selecting the “Share Content” button in the meeting controls. Learn more about sharing content in an Infinity Connect meeting.
Not using Infinity Connect?
If you’re not using Infinity Connect, you can share your screen by selecting the “Share Screen” option in your browser’s Share menu. Learn more about sharing your screen in a browser.
Sharing your screen
Screen sharing is available when you’re using the following browsers:
Chrome version 72 or higher
Edge version 79 or higher
Firefox version 66 or higher
Safari version 11.1 or higher
If you’re using an older browser, you can still share your screen, but you’ll need to install the Pexip Screen Sharing extension first. Learn more about installing the Pexip Screen Sharing extension.
The Pexip Screen Sharing extension is available for free on the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons.
When you share your screen, everyone in the meeting will be able to see what’s on your screen. If you’re sharing audio as well, they’ll also be able to hear any sounds coming from your computer.
You can stop sharing your screen at any time by selecting the “Stop Sharing” button in the meeting controls.

To share your screen using Infinity Connect:
1. In the meeting controls, select the “Share Content” button.
2. In the Share Content pop-up window, select the “Share Screen” option.
3. Your screen will now be shared with the meeting.
To stop sharing your screen:
1. In the meeting controls, select the “Stop Sharing” button.
2. Your screen will no longer be shared with the meeting.
Frame rate :
The frame rate is the number of images that are displayed on your screen per second. The higher the frame rate, the smoother the image will be. Pexip Screen Sharing uses a variable frame rate that adapts to changing conditions in order to provide the best possible experience. Under ideal conditions, Pexip Screen Sharing can achieve a frame rate of up to 60 frames per second.
Resolution
The resolution is the number of pixels that are used to display an image. The higher the resolution, the clearer the image will be. Pexip Screen Sharing automatically adjusts the resolution to match the capabilities of your device and network connection.
